16A - What's your secret sauce

  1. I am determined and I will go that extra mile to achieve a goal of mine
  2. I read both adweek and adage every day to keep up to date in the advertising marketing world - I also read both of those publications because I truly enjoy it
  3. I write out and tell someone about every goal of mine because I learned that you are more likely to achieve a goal if you write it down and share it with someone else
  4. I am easy to go with the flow and embrace change
  5. I tend to look at the silver lining in every situation and see the best in everything instead of the negatives

Rachel said that a strength of mine is putting other people first.

It is alway interesting to see how people view you compared to how you view yourself. I was definitely surprised by some of the qualities and strength that my friends said about me. I think sometimes, we are too critical on ourselves and what we might view as a flaw is actually a strength.  Based off of what people said about me, a common strength was my dedication. I would add that to my list.

  1. Hey Elizabeth, really enjoyed reading your post! I think those are some great things to have that people are saying about you. I think the fact that you are very flexible with life combined with looking at the bright side of things is such a good combination. Especially with everything going on right now, we all learned that life is unpredictable. As long as you roll with the punches and keep that positive outlook, you'll always thrive in life.

  2. Hey Elizabeth. Nice post. I thought your best quality was number four on your list. I think that being receptive to change and having the ability to stay calm during hardship is an invaluable quality. This trait is especially important in today's hectic world. Additionally, I was also surprised by some of the traits that my friends described me with. I would have never predicted some of the qualities that other people said about me. Nice post.

  3. Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for sharing. Reading career focused periodicals are an excellent way to acclimate yourself to your future role. While taking business courses will naturally aide in developing a proper mindset, focusing specifically on the role will assure you a leg up when you do enter the market space. You appear to be a very amiable and proactive person. All good traits to have in corporate America. Good luck to you.
